Interesting read. The points were quite a bit different than other posters. That makes it sound legit. It is hard to believe any p5 schools would drop football due to being in the red and the future cost of the new rules. Football funds their other sports.

They mentioned that there are rumors that BYU is talking with the big 12 again, I found it quite interesting. http://www.bluegoldsports.com/big-5-conferences-expansion-looming/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :)

Along with "Thumbs Up" and "Thumbs Down" options, I wish we could vote a post as " ".

They lost me at 14+14+14+10+12 = 65 full time members.

Probably counted ND. But then said full time members.

Likely counting ND as ACC and ND is an official ACC member ex-football......just a guess.

Yes. Likely. But then in their tables, they showed ACC as 14.

Just not well written in that intro. I did think the Big 12 - shown on a map - did a great job of showing just how far out of the picture WVA is and thus where Big 12 may be focused for further expansion to fill in the gaps. If B12 really wanted to stay at 10, BYU would have been a more logical choice than WVU. But they took WVU. Maybe desperation. Maybe part of a bigger plan. But even bigger plans get changed sometimes. I still think B12 should send PAC a message and take BYU, BSU, UNLV, and SDSU. That leaves PAC with no future expansion options with much merit.
