The coach will be on the hotseat after having gone from 8-4 and ACC Coach of the Year in his debut 3 seasons ago to 4 wins and then 2 wins.
The consensus is that with a Top 10 SOS and 2nd toughest ACC schedule, 6-6 is the ceiling. Not the expected. Best Case.
Fans bemoan that a 6-6 ceiling is unacceptable for a team that has had 4 straight recruiting classes that were exceptional for UVA. And, go on to point out that UVA is a senior laden team.
Most think 6-6 would be enough to salvage the HC's job. Some think 5-7 would if UVA beats VA Tech and NC.
They listed the best chances for wins - 2 cupcakes and Miami were included - Miami.
They listed why the schedule is so tough. Florida State for cross division match up assigned by ACC and Louisville replacing Maryland as their rival.
There was absolutely no mention of BYU as being a reason for the dismal outlook or as one of the likely wins or possible upset wins.
