Nevada Rancher vs Al Sharpton Leftist

I suspect most posters here are familiar with the recent struggles in Nevada between a 68 yr. old rancher (Cliven Bundy) and the BLM.



How is it that when Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy owes $1 million in back fees to the Feds - and he gets SWAT teams and armed BLM officers with M-16's on his doorstep confiscating his property, and hauling it off. Aggressive armed officers knocked an elderly woman to the ground, aggressive guard dogs were use to intimidate, and Bundy's son was tased.



Al Sharpton has owed the IRS (Feds) $2.6 million in back taxes, the state $900,000 in back taxes, and his National Action Network owes $880,000 in back taxes. No SWAT team or armed officers showed up at Al Sharpton's doorstep to confiscate his property or attack his family.



Why the difference. Al Sharpton continues to be a guest at the White House. Why?

There's no "rare" cute creature to serve as a pretext to get out the guns to defend.

I lay awake at night, staring at the ceiling, wondering: "Are we doing enough to protect the desert tortoise from ill tempered cattle?" ;)

We'll send in the assault rifles to protect tommy the turtle, but the best we can do for the Ukrainians are some MREs delivered by FedEx?!? This world is a very strange world.
