"Separate But Equal" Doctrine in BCS Bowls
See, there are two classes of college football teams: Major Conference Teams and Other Teams. The Major Conference Teams get to play in the best bowl games. The Other Teams get to play in the other bowl games. Sometimes we invite the Other Teams to play in a good bowl game, just to prove we aren't prejudiced against them, but never in the best bowl game, which is reserved for the Major Conference Teams. Of course, there are regular Major Conference Teams and there are elite Major Conference Teams. As long as the elite Major Conference Teams don't screw up too badly, they play in the best bowl game. Sometimes the regular Major Conference Teams get to play, but never the Other Teams. But the Other Teams get to play each other, and isn't that what God intended?

"I guess in your perspective BSU and TCU already get their rewards in the form of a BCS payout. Perhaps that is the dream of the BCS fan. Well, some of us have a different dream for the college post season.
And let me tell you about my dream.
It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.
I have a dream that one day this BCS will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed.
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the BCS teams and the Division IIA teams will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, Bama players will be able to join hands with Utah players as brothers.
I have a dream that my favorite football team will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the name of their conference, but by the content of their character.
