"Stanford will be making its first bowl appearance in eight years at the Sun Bowl against Oklahoma. The Cardinal (8-4) accepted the bid to the bowl game in El Paso, Texas, on Dec. 31. It will be Stanford's third trip to the Sun Bowl. It defeated LSU in 1977 and Michigan State in 1996. The 38-0 win over the Spartans marks the last time the Cardinal won a bowl game. They haven't played in one since losing the Seattle Bowl to Georgia Tech in 2001. Led by Heisman Trophy contender Toby Gerhart, the Cardinal finished in a three-way tie for second place in the Pac-10. This will be the fifth meeting between Stanford and Oklahoma (7-5). The Sooners won three of the first four."

I think OU stalls them, but will not have enough O to beat them. I like the Trees 19-13.

Sounds like Luck is going to miss that game. I like OU.

I'll take OU. Gerhart is a great player but OU's defense is pretty stout. And if they don't have their QB then I'll give it to OU who will be traveling a lot less far.

I will be cheering for OU. Should be a close game.

I'm hoping that OU looks good. Not that it matters, our ranking doesn't depend on a OU w/l does it?

Yes, 8-5 might be good enough, especially after what Oklahoma did to Oklahoma St. With Oklahoma's defence, Stanford possible being without their starting quarterback, I think Oklahoma by 14+
