Spring Game - A Week From Tomorrow

I guess we are having one. Apparently we have enough healthy linemen. The most interesting thing to see may be the back-up QB - just so we know we have one.



I am kind of shocked that it so dead silent.



No locker room drama?

No coach feuds?

No conference realignment?

No Utes to prepare for?

No big injuries?

No HC violations?

No academic casualties?

No homesick players?

No transfers?



Maybe that. Maybe a lot of well kept secrets.



Anybody got any inside scoop?

I did read that on the day when high school coaches from all over converged on Provo, a sophomore player Tomasi Taulile, a defensive lineman, injured his kneecap in front of everyone and spoiled the atmosphere by being carted off the field. I think this was Friday.

Yes. Very quiet in spring camp. Bronco said he wasn't going to do a print game. Now I guess it's on. It was refreshing to see some tweets by Nate M. But, this is probably the way Bronco wants it. Silent. I Hope the unintended consequence is lack luster enthusiasm by fans. There ware always the faithful and fanatic, but sure seems quiet and uneventful.

I feel bad for Taulile. And glad there aren't other severe, carting off injuries.

Does it seem quiet to others? And if so, why?

If quiet means no season ending injuries for key players, I will take that.

About the only things I've heard is that Williams and Lasike look very good running the ball and that Hill is above whatever completion percentage goal they set coming into spring.
