Frank is going to be a stud. He has a skill set that is very rare at BYU. He can get to the rim really well. As he gets a little stronger he'll finish.

Wish he took it to the rim more against Oregon. He'll need to work on his outside shot so he's a dual threat and also work on his decision making, but I like the potential and ability. I look forward to watching him play.

Actually, I think he needs to get smarter not stronger. Recall early in the year when he was a train wreck going into the lane just about every time he touched the ball. He has plenty of beef.

And yes, he needs to be more consistent in shooting. But remember Jimmer really didn't blossom fully until his junior year.

The other problem, is he tall enough for the three spot? He seems like a tweener. But it is clear that he has a good pathway forward.

Totally agree. I'd like to see Frank -10 lbs and quicker. he's got plenty of bulk and it does nothing for him when guys are willing to take charges.

Get some quicks and develop a pull up jumper from 10-12 feet instead of plowing over guys and Frank IV will be great.

That's exactly what Jordan Loveridge did. He realized that he's not really a 4 and built himself into a pretty amazing 3 by dropping weight. Frank is a 2 and in time and with the right preparation could be by his senior year a highlight film type of player. He's raw... but he's a gamer. He might have the highest ceiling on this team.

I will wait and see. My excitement will start to build when he starts making his free throws. I did not see his high school play. But, at BYU, he does not yet shoot well enough to be a 2. And, maybe he will still grow a few inches. I am not saying he is a dud or that he is not a D1 player or a wasted schollie. He is a D1 player and has a schollie. That did not happen by accident.

Here is my worry. Iirc, he played an extra year of college prep. A man amongst boys. Sometimes HS players hit their ceiling early due to rich parents and tons of camps and trainers - others hit it by being held back a year and being bigger, stronger more developed - others play an extra year.

Sometimes when the man among boys becomes a man Among men, it levels out.

Not saying that is the case here. Waiting to see more data. But, he already contributes. He is not a dud. I am just not ready to assume he will be an all conference MVP player. Not saying he won't be.
