Final BCS rankings for 2009

BYU stays at 14 and TCU stays at 4, which is an injustice.



Utah moved up to 23.



Excellent showing by the MWC to get 2 teams ranked high enough for consideration and for getting the autobid among non-AQ teams.



Now, TCU should be on a mission to whack BSU a second time and set themselves up for a BCS title run next season.



BTW, the AP poll also has TCU at 3 and BYU moved up to 15.

Although the BCS is taking their 10 best teams, according to their rankings. This is the way it should work every year. The ONLY requirement to make a BCS bowl game should be: finish in the top 10 of the final BCS rankings.

Then turn that into a tournament and determine a real NC for once.

Four MWC teams in the final BCS rankings. Of course I'm assuming Boise joins the fold this summer and we get to count their rankings.

The biggest crock is that we got dropped one spot in both the Coaches poll (in favor of idle LSU) and in the AP poll (in favor of idle Miami) despite neither of the two teams we were ahead of last week playing either. How does that work?!



It didn't end up hurting us in the BCS standings but it could have. I just would like the voters who switched their vote to justify it to the people.

OH really???? you want accountability in college football??? Get outta town.

So I guess I'm a little confused, TCU has more overall points than Cinn. in the poll, but yet they're now ranked behind them? Isn't the whole system, (meaning the points received), created by the polls and the computers, and then a tally of total points is made, and then wherever you fall then you fall in the rankings in order of number of points given, not just them dropping them back a spot for no reason, or am I getting this all wrong?

They are #3 in 2 polls, and #5 in other = #4, what makes me mad, is a few of the BCS comps have FL at #2.

On a positive note for BYU. The highest final BCS ranking in school history. Just 2 spots away from being an auto qualifier, well if there weren't two teams higher that is.

Why the hell do the comps love USC so much ?

No surprise that Cinn jumped TCU. Does anyone on this board really believe that the cartel would have let TCU play for the champ had NEB won?
