Although I'm not buying Memphis or Texas and i struggle with Kansas since they lose kids to early NBA draft which would lower grad rate. i suspect this is skewed by the politics of completion rates and GPA expectations which methodologically creates all sorts of confounds. Apples are not always being compared to apples. Although it could be argued that comparing apples to crabapples (lowered expectations) is still comparing apples; i.e., Stanford has to far exceed Memphis in overall academic performance but is constrained by higher standards. Waaa. :) We'll take the final four!!

This is something they do every year, and every year BYU is in, they do fairly well every time. Surprisingly so does Kansas. I don't understand the APR well enough to make a comment on it, but apparently it doesn't include NCAA Graduation Success Rate (which actually hurts BYU because it's 6 years from entry into college, regardless of missions) as that is the first tie breaker or Federal Graduation Rate (2nd tie breaker).

So does that mean a tie went into overtime?
