Collinsworth Knees

When KC went down a couple of weeks ago, visions of Chris Collinsworth and the knee that never recovered flashed before my mind. Miraculously KC bounced back.



Then, playing on tired legs, down he goes again after a highlight reel dunk in which he looked fine and then it just buckles on him at the other end of the floor.



Deja vu.



I hope that KC bounces back.

Someone was guessing torn ACL. We will have to wait to hear if it is serious.

Well Bartley is really going to have step-up big now along with Sharp.

If I had to guess it's either an ACL or MCL. You usually just don't crumple like that unless you've popped something. Sad day. He's a big, big loss.

Non-contact knee injury generally means torn ACL. Torn ACL is a much better than what his brother had to go through.



Chris had microfracture surgery, which is about 50-50 effective. For every Blake Griffin there's an Amar'e Stoudamire. ACL surgery has a much better rate of recovery.
