The Jordan Rule

When Jordan was all world, he still couldn't win it all till he had a supporting cast and utilized them. He led the league in scoring those 3 years, yet still couldn't get past Detroit.



But then he learned to share.



We have a phenomenal scorer in Haws. And as good as he is, and even when he is on, we don't win all the time.



What is a the right amount of shots for Haws to take to make us a winning team? How many points is ideal on a regular basis? The right amount is critical as we enter the shot for the dance.



I think 25 or more may be too much on a regular basis. He needs to share and get the D to not have to concentrate on him so much so the other players are a legit threat.

As many or as little as it takes. If he's hitting 66% of his shots, keep taking them, if he's not, give up the rock to someone who is hitting. OR get to the FT line.

Funny you say that because off the record chuck daily said the best player on dream team 1 Scottie Pippen..Bulls don't win those rings without him..I loved watching him play because he effected the game so much without even scoring..with that said Michael Jordan made the players around him that much better thats the mark of a true special player..

This question has a simple answer. If you are a great shooter, if you are open in your range - shoot it. If you are shooting poorly, do not shoot contested shots or hurried shots early in the clock. This question is about the wrong player. We have a hot and cold shooter that needs to be reminded of this on occasion.

It's an interesting comparison, but it breaks down. MJ usually had the ball and drew the D. Tyler usually gets the ball off a screen and shoots or drives quickly. He does get assists but its not like the O is totally centered around Tyler like it was MJ.

As for Pippen, loved to watch that guy play. Whenever I give some pointers to taller guys (3's) ball handling I have them watch Scottie dribble. THe dude had it going.

The best duo of all time. better than Shaq and Kobe and Stockton to Malone.

BYU has a bunch of streaky scorers and Tyler Haws. The issue isn't with Tyler Haws scoring too much, the issue is with everyone else not scoring enough. BYU's losses this year are a direct result of everyone but Ty going cold and poor defense.

On a college team Jordan was a good enough two-way force to win a lot of games by himself. Comparing a college career to an NBA championship is silly.
