Jimmer Drops 24

Jimmer did some jimmering against the Knicks, dropping 24 points and hitting his famous shots from deep. Nice to see.

Amazing what happens when you get minutes..

Jimmer's had some quick outbursts this season, but this was the first game he kept playing when he had the hot hand.



His 6-8 of from three, also gave him enough makes/attempts to qualify for seasons stats. He now LEADS the NBA in three-point field percentage at .493!

For some strange reason, the coach decided not to pull Jimmer once he got hot, and look what happened! Who'da thunkit!?

Hopefully another team will see what he's capable of, and offer a trade. The Kings are a bunch of thugs minus Jimmer. Truly amazing what happens when you just let the kid play. Jimmer's scary when he's confident.

He looked like the Jimmer of old. Deep 3s were falling.

It was also a career high in made 3s. His previous was 5 in his rookie year.

I loved the deep 3 in the second quarter. 4-5 feet behind the line. It was like he was playing at the Marriott Center all over again.

What a display. People can knock him for some things--his one on one D is just fine; it's his off screen defense that is slow. But when he is confident he's unstoppable most of the time.

One thing is for sure. As long as the coaches play him... Jimmer range is back!

The Kings

Jimmer is ranked 19th among NBA point guards in player efficiency (of 68 PG's listed). He has the fewest minutes per game of any of the 68 PG's listed.



There are 12 NBA teams that do not have a PG with as high an efficiency rating. Utah Jazz 2 point guards both ranked below Jimmer.

While I would love Jimmer to come play for the Jazz, I feel like there are too many :utard: fans who will never root for him regardless of who he plays for, and those same :utard: fans will just wait for him to fail. I want Jimmer to go wherever he can succeed. I don't know if that is with the Jazz. The Jazz also don't have the best recent track record of developing talent either.

The Knicks - the team he just helped beat - their highest rated point guard is 45th. Close to his home too. Miami Heat's highest rated PG is at 31. Either of these two would be a nice place for him to land.

It would kill me if he went, but the Lakers could really use him right now.

Jimmer would kill it on the heat. All those open looks he would thrive there.

Plus the Heat could help offset on D better than other teams.

And that is the big problem. Just like Halford, he's just not as strong on D as a few of you have pointed out and as Winder seemed to prove last night.

I don't think anyone questions Jimmer, Jimmering. They question Jimmer getting Jimmered too often.

Jimmer should be in the 3pt contest every year too.
