Not smart

Any1 see Marcus smart shove that guy..not justifying what he did but, that guy totally said something to him..You can see said guy say my bad to him when he gets in his face..

No one was right in this situation. Wrong words used. Wrong response. Both losers.

I don't care what a fan says to you, fans say stuff to players all the time, it's the nature of sports. If a guy can't handle fans' heckling without acting violent, he needs to quit playing the game (or be forced to quit by those with the power to do so. If you don't control yourself, someone else will).

I wish more players would go after fans. If fans had their immunity from recourse taken away, sporting events might become much more family friendly.

Did I say it was cool for the guy to talk smack? No, but it's not going away. And no, I as a college athlete never accosted a fan, despite some nasty things they said to me.

Don't recall saying you said it was cool. I said its not cool for a grown man to do that to a kid..Yes, he should have controlled himself but I can see why he did it...I can't in right mind stand here in say I may not have reacted in the sameway when I was 19..I played baseball at he D-I level you always get a couple of jerks in the group..Sometimes your emotions get the better of you in the heat of the moment. I hope he learns from the moment and grows as a person from it.

Yeah in baseball you can "accidently" throw the baseball at them.

Video is now out there that doesn't have the word audible. It's possible it was used previously or that it's what Smart thought he heard.

Don't they always ESPN..I seriously can't stand Sportscenter anymore and I loved that show since I was a kid..

That makes 2 of us. They are as bad as any major news outlet.
