UCF listed as loosers to NFL draft early entries

Hopefully this will be an advantage for us as they loose their QB and RB and the replacements are freshman.

I see Hauoli (last name was Jamoura when he committed to BYU) is back at Wash. If he would have come to BYU, imagine him and Bronson bookending the DLine.



As for my all time woulda should coulda, I will forever wonder how good the bball team would have been with Parker. I think an NC would have been a distinct possibility.

Even with Jabari I think we at best are a 5 seed. Byu REALLY REALLY needs big men. If Nate Austin had about 30 more lbs and an offensive game mixed with quicker feet, we could have challenged for a 5 seed.





As far as UCF, my thoughts are too bad. UCF i'm hoping is a huge boost to our SOS. Coming off a UCF BCS win I was hoping for a signature road victory. At Texas could have ???? written all over it(new coach, bad D, byu owned them last year etc)

BYU needs to worry more about winning these games and less about their signatures.



BYU had an experienced team and eked out a win vs a wounded Oklahoma team on an uneutral field. Then we played a wounded Texas team on the road, and narrowly lost.



That is about the range of where we would most optimistically hope to be next year vs a wounded Texas team on the road.



Do not get distracted by the butt whooping we laid on them after the rain in Provo. Horrible coaching made them look worse than they were and made us look better than we were. Texas will look at U, Bucky, ND, and UW film next year. They will have the athletes and coaching to implement that defensive strategy - unless BYU brings a solid passing attack with a true deep threat to Austin. Bring that - and BYU could win a close game in the road.
