Bad timing, I am headed to Provo Thursday. Are you predicting two wins. I still remember you calling that Texas upset in the rain as we huddled in the Cougar Club waiting for the rain to stop.

Wish I could get out there for them, that would be fun.

I may go. Need to check the schedule. Tickets shoukdnt be hard to come by this season.

I'm not as confident about these two games as I was about Tx, but I will predict we win both. We are playing with a sense of urgency; I like that. I haven't watched USF this year, not sure how they've been winning games. The fact they're winning with the turnover in personnel they've had is impressive. Santa Clara plays tough at home and will be dangerous if we let them hit shots like they did second half at St. Mary's. I like our chances if we can keep Carlino, halford and Collinsworth on the floor for extended periods of time - it will let us really be aggressive on defense.

This is the third year in a row we have made this trip to SF. I can get much better seats at USF and Santa Clara games than I could at a BYU home game; it's a short, inexpensive flight; and I get to take my wife to SF for the weekend. It's a win-win all around. I love the locales of WCC schools and hope to expand my travels to other games, just hasn't worked timing wise yet. Don't mind sharing it with the CC faithful, but don't let all of Cougardom know the secret that is WCC away games - don't want to have to fight for seats in the future.

As a Bay Area native, I love all the hoops games I get to see.



Got my tickets for the SF game this Thursday. It's a 6 pm game so the whole Gunk clan will be there including my mom.
