Unfortunately, I agree with you. I'm sure he is a great guy, but something about him rubs me the wrong way and the media love fest makes me want to puke.

He plays for Meyer @ Florida.

It's nothing against him personally of course, I don't know him, how could it be.

I just get so tired of constantly hearing about how awesome he is.

I am not saying he isn't a good football player, because it is obvious he is.

But the love fest is ridiculous, remember this quote from Thom Brennaman in last year's title game?

A poster on Rivals made a good point, he said something along the lines of how BYU and Utah fans must be pissed when they hear how Tebow is for having served missions, whenever half the players on those two teams serve 2 year missions.

I actually think Tebow is a breathe of fresh air. I'm glad the media is focusing so much on a kid that isn't afraid to wear is faith in Christ on his sleave...or his eye paint.

Still... for some strange reason, seeing him cry as Florida lost made me smile..... :)

I guess in a way I will be glad he's gone. I won't have mixed feelings between wanting to see a kid like Tebow succeed and wanting to see Meyer crash and burn.

It is nice to see him display his faith as openly as he does. But why is it when Bronco pretty much does the same thing he gets blasted by the media? I bet if you asked Tebow where football falls into his list of priorities it wouldn't be #1 either. And I wonder if Tebows getting blasted for crying tonight the same way that John Beck got blasted. My guess is he's not.

Don't get me wrong I am in no way a fan of Tebows. I too can't wait for him to move onto the NFL so he can get chewed up and spit out like I think he will. The offense he plays in college is so different from anything he's going to be playing in the NFL. Its taken Alex Smith 4 years to learn how to play in the NFL and I'm not sure if he's even that good of a QB. Tebow is going to be expected to produce right away. And when he doesn't move over Matt Lienart and Jamarcus Russle theres a new draft day bust in the league.
