Correction. Fix heading. It is the 2014/15 Pre-season poll. Several came out. BYU seems to go 25-30. UCF and Texas made Top 25 in one poll iirc.

Sounds about right to me. Way too early to tell, though. When we see who shows up in Spring and who gets injured and who gets suspended and..............

We should have a good feel for this by September.

Hopefully it is fixed. Hard to get use to the new year.

I heard SI has us #23 for next year.

If disarray in Austin allows BYU to upset Texas in Austin and enough UCF players defect to the NFL early and see coaches get picked off to allow BYU to beat UCF on the road, and if disarray in Boise continues long enough for Bronco to beat Bronco's in Boise - BYU should be good enough to sweep in Provo and beat Savanna State, Call, and UCONN on the road.

IDK about a Bowl game. Not sure who we get. Watch out for USU in Provo. Eight regular season wins should be very attainable with a lot more upside than downside likely.

7-11 would be my expected range with 9 or 10 most likely regular season.

Way too early. Coaching changes, early departures to NFL and recruiting are not close to done. Anything at this point is worthless.

Although, anything less than 9 wins is a big disappointment. The schedule is pretty soft outside of UT, the other games are all manageable, with UCF and USU being solid. 9 wins is acceptable, 10 is good, anything more is great. Less than 9 wins is unacceptable given the schedule.

I would give BYU a B for the 2013 Football Season.

It was not a special season. We ended up right about where I thought we would before the first snap of the season. I did not feel that there was any one game that BYU could not win, but I expected every road game to be a challenge. I was nearly certain that Wisconsin and ND would beat us in their house. I expected Texas to be the most likely home loss by far, but gave us a 40% chance. After the UVA game, I thought Texas was a certain loss. Glad I went. The UVA game was 50/50 in my projection because of the timing vs our new offense and due to crossing 2 time zones and playing in heat and humidity. Heat turned out not to be an issue - but wow - humidity. I expected a 60% chance of beating Utah before the season started. After UVA, I expected to lose to Utah. After Texas, I expected 50/50 or 49/51 due to erratic passing. I knew Utah would slow that running game down and make us throw. I expected a 55/45 chance vs BSU. I expected a 50/50 in Logan before the season started. Road Game. I expected 55/45 vs Houston before the season started. Road Game. Time Zone change. Got even more nervous by game week. I felt Nevada would be a 61/39 game. Road Game.

Beating Texas would not have surprised me going into the season. I thought we had a shot. By game time, I expected to get killed. This was my pleasant surprise game. Utah was my big disappointment. BSU was our most important win since we did not beat U. USU was a key win.

A B or low B+ for me. If we had also beaten UVA - I would go high B+. Add a win over U and I would go A-. Add a win over ND or UW plus a Bowl win and BAM. 11-2 and A for me. Special Season with this schedule. A 12-1 season and I would have called it a very special season. A+.
