SpiffCougThis is stupid. There are more important things to discuss than a television show.
Every Republican should boldly stand up and say this does NOT matter. What matters is that we have a federal leviathan that is out of control and is going to destroy, bankrupt and ruin the country unless we immediately begin to tackle it.
They should talk about nothing except balancing the budget, reducing the debt and deficit and restoring fiscal sanity and responsibility to the nation. Because if we don't, then all these all social problems don't matter because there won't be a country for them to matter.

I'm not a fan of the "Topic A is very important, therefore Topic B cannot be important at all" argument. Yes, I would be very concerned if a bear was chasing me, but it wouldn't make me ignore my pants if they caught on fire. Or something like that.
Or in other words, say a law was proposed that no not-for-profit could include the names "Jesus" or "Christ", because why give governmental tax breaks to private religious groups? I'm sure Spiff could find some interest in that, despite the fact that our country has fiscal spending issues and budget/debt/tax problems.

Not just the GOP, but the American people in general. The GOP would love to hammer Obama on Fast & Furious, Benghazi, IRS manipulation, innocent drone killings, illegal spying and all the other scandals, but the American people are more interested in what the media spins to them about the Duck Dynasty and Kardashians.

BroncoBotAgreed that this is overblown by those in government positions. The network made a decision. And now it's up to people as to whether they will support that position or not.
