This is going to be a difficult game to win. Matchups will be tough for us. They have a short, quick, good shooting point guard and a big strong center with pretty solid players at every position. I think our best hope is to get their starters off the court as much as possible through fatigue or fouls. Unfortunately, I think we may be the ones struggling with fouls Saturday. Luckily we have a bit more depth than UMass.

Some more insight into UMass. This game will receive a lot of attention from the national media. Would be a huge win for BYU. Go Cougars!

I have to always remind myself that they are among the have-nots since I remember them being elite during my younger years. Most big time teams don't seem to care so much to play us, but make no mistake, we are a big game on their schedule.

They seem to expect us to be 23-8 going into The WCC Tournament.



That sounds about right. Apparently they expect Gonzaga to dominate and BYU, St Mary's, and UoP to fight it out for 2nd place.



Home Court seems to weigh heavily in their projections. They show 16-17 point swings home vs away for the same opponent.

I am usually not one to complain about the officiating, but if this bs continues just get on the plane at half-time. How that wasn't at least a flagrant one on the forearm shiver to Haws and UMass ends up with 4 points on the possession after the officials go to the monitor is beyond comprehension.
