Shut yer piehole, troll. BYU lost that game because of bad free throw shooting, and because ISU blinded our strongest inside man.

Kane has a long history of technical and flagrant fouls. I don't think he was trying to blind Mika, but it's clear he was going to make sure he didnt' score.; however this is just as bad or worse than the targeting that players get ejected and then suspended the next game for. It's not always the intent, but the result.. just as in football. The result was that Kane hurt a guy with an irresponsible swipe at a player that had gotten the ball and had position on him.



We lost because we missed free throws and gave up some gimmee buckets, it certainly didn't help that as a result of Kanes foul that we lost our best post player, (ie unbalanced trade).. Had we simply made one more free throw before we had to foul, we likely would have gone to overtime and dominated their JV after their starters had fouled out. It stinks... I'm glad Mika will be back ... we don't have a single senior on this team so this is a good year to learn from this and get better.





As for the Utehole above... go away troll. Ute fans have no business in a basketball forum. (How many alteregos does airwolf have?)

The utardforlife is not getting it, that this is not about who lost and who won. This is about a thug with a record of being a thug, who's intention was: "Can't stop their big in the post, so go for his eyes!" This is also about a program that allows such trash to happen.

Hey sock puppet (Elder Cyclone) you got all us BYU faithful on this one. Yep we all think Coach Hoiberg coaches such tactics intentionally. Yep we all believe that all Iowa State red shirts, walk-ons, and fraternity pledges are paraded through practice on a regular basis and those that actually play in the games are allowed to practice their eye gouging skills on a regular basis. These sacrificial "gougees" are affectionately known around campus in Ames as the "Cyclone Cyclopses". Such revolutionary strategy and coaching acumen employed by Coach Hoiberg's revolutionary tactics will go down in the annals of coaching brilliance rivaling coaching legends such as the Wizard of Westwood, The General, Coach K, and Johnny Orr. Yes BYU lost a 2 point game at home in a very entertaining early season college basketball game between two very good teams who barring any serious injury or pink eye should both make the field of 68 come March. A scratched cornea in and of itself isn't that bad. The cornea can heal itself incredibly fast. Most abrasions are gone in 24-48 hours. Of course, they didn't say how deep the scratches are

Last time I had one, and I cannot remember how I got it, but, I will never forget how painful and scary it was, the doctor put some drops in it so he could calm it down for examination, and it was nearly instantaneous relief. As he saw my amazement, he quickly let me know that the pain would return very shortly, and it did.



But, it was much better 48 hours later.
