3. To be bowl eligible and play the best bowl team possible
4. To be better than Utah
5. To win the National Championship (On to 2014!!!)
6. To go to a BCS game (Wounded in Charlottesville, Critical Condition vs. Utah, Died in Madison)
A. Cheer for BYU. Duh.
BYU over Idaho St.
B. Cheer for the team playing Utah. If we need help from Utah in any way then it is not worth having.
Oregon over Utah
C. Cheer for teams playing teams ranked ahead of BYU. If both teams are ranked cheer for the team that will give BYU the best chance of being ranked. AP rankings are below:
Mississippi St. over #1 Alabama
Syracuse over #2 Florida St.
Illinois over #3 Ohio St.
#4 Baylor over Texas Tech (TT with a win might be ranked)
#5 Stanford over USC (USC with a win would be ranked)
#7 Auburn over #25 Georgia
Georgia Tech over #8 Clemson
Florida over #11 South Carolina
#12 Oklahoma St. over #23 Texas (We want Texas behind us.)
#13 UCLA over Washington (Washington with a win might be ranked)
#14 Michigan St. over Nebraska (Nebraska with a win might be ranked)
Temple over #15 UCF
Indiana over #17 Wisconsin
Houston over #19 Louisville (tough call here)
Ball St. over #20 Northern Illinois
Oregon St. over #21 ASU

D. Cheer for BYUâs opponents. This helps SOS which will help our ranking unless it violates rules (A-C).

E. Cheering for our Opponentsâ opponents unless they are playing our opponents no longer is relevant. That was only to help our computer numbers for the National Championship and BCS which is no longer in the picture.
F. Cheer for the FCS team. Because it is fun (unless it violates rules A-D)

G. Cheer for the highest quality bowl option for BYU:

No other games matter.
