Taysom Hill is better than Steve Young

Honest talk guys- Taysom Hill is good. But #BYU is 87th nationally in interceptions right now. 96th in pass efficiency. 98th on 3rd down %. 110th in sacks. 113th in completion %.



I know, the OL/WRs/TEs/RBs/Coaches are all partially to blame for team stats. But still, that's a lot of passes to either no one or the other team (along with the drops), and a lot of hits that Taysom is taking. I don't think this level of play is good enough to beat Boise State, Wisconsin, or Notre Dame. I also fear that Taysom won't stay healthy for too much longer taking that kind of abuse.



I know! Let's recruit a 6-0/250 Center to block for him next year! LOL. I kid. Seriously though, I hope we find the right guys in the future to get in front of our main man to keep him alive and setting records (550 team rushing yards against Texas thanks largely to him, 400 passing/100 rushing for the first time ever at BYU, etc.)... Fabuluje maybe? Austin Chambers? Chandon Herring? Maybe Peoples/Shoaf/Carter/Duran/Hicks/Fusi/Taliauli/Lapuaho/Rawlinson. Who knows? SOMEONE. But I digress...



This team still has a lot of areas left to improve. The Virginia game to Texas was a huge jump. Hopefully that trend is able to continue upward as the season goes on.

I've heard the new center recruit might end up playing linebacker.

I agree, this level of abuse on his body can't be sustained. They need to fix the Oline and fast. I have watched Boise play a few times this year and their D is very vulnerable so I think BYU will win this weekend. BYU won't go into Wisconsin and win though, not a chance, unless this Oline improves a ton.

Oh yes. I've heard this. 'THill is the best ever qb' and '2013 is a better D than 2012'. Thanks for adding to the exagerations and hyperbole. ;-) Jk
