Once Again, Vile Corruption At BYU Football Exposed!!

In a hard hitting article, Jay Drew, the gate keeper of all holiness and pureness, has, yet again, exposed indecency, mismanagement, AND mockery of the system by the BYU football team and its fans.



This time, I fear, most of the team will be put on probation, maybe even disbanded, due to gross insubordination and failure to heed the BYU Honor Code.



What abhorrent crimes did BYU commit according to Jay Drew? They stripped naked after the game and ran around the stadium high fiving the fans. Okay, they didn't strip naked, but they did run around the stadium after the game and high fived the many BYU fans who attended the BYU-Houston game.



Such debauchery, crassness, and obscenity should not be suffered by either the BYU administration nor the NCAA No Celebration Before, During, or After The Game Committee (NNCBDATGC).



I expect punishments and expulsions to be handed down within the week. I fear Coach Mendenhall has seen his last game at BYU.

To be fair, Jay Drew only pointed out that one of the Houston reporters thought that it was too much.



At least he could have gotten the score right. He reported 46-45.

Can they take away your diploma for this? I've been caught blue handed.

Yeah, a not-so-sly way for him to throw mud on BYU.

What the Houston writer doesn't realize is that BYU fans and cougar players do this at all away games. It's like touching base with their worldwide fans.

To his credit (in hating BYU), the u lost long after this event.

BYU football may get the "death penalty" for this, and all we do is complain about Jay Drew?

Anyone who knows anything about BYU Football knows about the firesides before the games and high-fiving the fans after a win, any reporter that doesn't know this is willfully ignorant and/or is being riled up by a trib reporter that failed to mention that BYU tradition during their chat.



Also, if you're UH and you're borrowing someone else's stadium for the year, you don't get to be offended about people taking a victory lap around a house that isn't yours.

You would think a reporter who covers BYU, when asking a reporter who doesn't cover BYU and finding out they're miffed, might inform the non-BYU reporter that because BYU routinely has 5-10k fans at away games that they do this after EVERY game (even home) games. And that even the bball team has started doing this.

Obviously either none of the people commenting on this actually read the article, or you're just choosing to misrepresent what was stated. I'm disappointed in this group. Jay drew even quotes the Houston coach saying that he was NOT bothered by it. The only thing he was stating was how ridiculous it was for the Houston reporter to get bothered by it.

I read the article, even the comments to the article. I am only doing what JD did, creating conflict where there should be none, but only in a more perfect way.

It may not be as bad as some are making it, but All the amazing story lines in this game and he Picks that one? Don't think for a moment he's not pandering to his predominant readership.
