This May Hurt Worse Than Utes re Recruiting

Dalton Shultz and Scott Nichols - Bingham.



One of these kids is the number 1 TE recruit in the nation according to D News. That would be Shultz. Stanford's head coach was standing on the Bingham High sidelines last nigjt to scout him and got to watch Nichols - who has not been on anyone's radar screen return a kick-off for a TD, catch a pass out of the backfield for a TD, and rush for 3 more TDs and put up over 350 all-purpose yards as Bingham routed Jordan.



Stanford just happened to be in town. They will probably just happen to rout Utah tonight.



With PAC 12, MWC, and ND, Texas, Wisconsin, GT, Boise State, Virginia, etc., now routinely playing U, USU, and Y, more such coincidences will continue to happen.



We once owned the Bingham High pipeline, Timpview, Kahuku, etc. Things, for this and various other reasons, have slipped a bit re recruiting.



I wonder if GT and BSU coaches are reading D News this morning.

Ugh, it was a solid win.



At this point a W for u is good for BYU, and a loss for u is good for me.

Great win for the Utes. Props to them.

Funny how a couple weeks changes one's outlook.



There was point early this season I wasn't sure Utah or BYU would be bowl eligible.



Now, aside from Oregon and maybe ASU (only because it is at RES in November) I like Utah's chances against everybody else left on their schedule.



Similarly, conventional wisdom would suggest Wisconsin and probably ND will be tough for BYU but I think they beat everybody else they have left. I think they''ll get BSU this time.

BS is going to be a good game.
