Another injury. At center no less. Anae announced it. Official. But he does not know exactly what the injury is and held out some hope.

Read an article about OL yesterday. Clearly Anae is aware he has a problem. Might have been Deep Shades of BS.

Just kidding Deep. Some good reads over there.

BYU started 2 freshmen vs USU. One is a walk on. That shows how far down the depth chart Anae has had to go. The article reminds that we are still feeling the impact of the careers of Houston Reynolds and Famika Anae ending early due to injury. Anae and Reynolds. Ironic. Maybe they got injured trying to step in between their feuding fathers. JK.

Matthews was supposed to be immediate impact. BAM. Double hip surgery and still not 100%.

We have another one out due to double shoulder surgery iirc.

Maybe it is time to - as fans - rally behind who we have got instead of bashing them. Yes - they play like a bunch of reserves - they are a bunch of reserves - probably trying their best in an overwhelming situation - now to be led by a new center most likely.

OL is going to take a few years to fix.

I am glad that Kearsley will get more PT. We need to develop him. He has not played center long so I hope he is good with his snaps.

Aletto is a good dude but was one of the most guilty of getting blown up the whole Utah State game. We were better when he was not in. The depth hit will still hurt a lot though.

I agree we should rally behind who we have. It's still a long season and any new injuries are gonna be noticeable. On the bright side, this will really help our depth going into next year with so many reserves getting starting minutes.
