Kwhitt's wife is full of it (surprised?)

I thought the same thing when I saw the picture - it sure looks to me that she's mixing it up with that guy, and not the innocent bystander. But, then again, pictures can be decieving...

she said she got hit in the face by someone's elbow and she made it sound like she was the intentional target. She also said the BYU fan told her to "Shutup" after confronting him.



I wonder if there was a separate incident apart from this one, because this certainly looks like she was not the target.... she also failed to mention anything about a ute fan throwing the BYU fan's phone on the field.



We'll never know what really happened, but if someone threw my $299 iphone on the field, you bet there'd be an altercation.

"Lt. Arnold Lemmon with the BYU Police Department said they received two related complaints on Saturday. A BYU fan told police he was taking pictures with his cell phone when a member of the Utes' sideline staff grabbed the phone, and a cameraman was on the field taking pictures of the team when the same person demanded that he stop taking pictures... The department has a name and is investigating the two incidents... According to the police report, BYU student Brent Wirig called police at about 9 p.m. Saturday to report that a Utah fan had stolen his $500 Blackberry after the game. The man came up to him as he was taking pictures with his phone, grabbed it and made a motion as if to throw it, but Wirig never saw the phone leave the man's hand. He then grabbed the man and called for an officer, according to the report; a fight ensued, and Wirig was hit in the jaw, though he was not sure who hit him. A cameraman had recorded the entire incident. The cameraman told police that the same man had punched his video camera and broken it as well as stolen his hat and injured his face. Both men identified the same man, who was affiliated with the team, as attacking them, and said they reported the incident to a nearby University of Utah police officer who did not search or detain the man.

The problem here is that instead of confronting a real fan issues the University of the :utard: s has, they try to pull crap out of the air to show BYU is no better. Well, didn't quite work out, it really does show how classless the entire program and university is.

The Utards remind me of the troubled youth that I work with: They'll swear, punch, kick, spit, yell, break stuff, so on and so on, but if you even raise your voice at them, they tell you that you're verbally abusive and grieve about it to others. They do everything humanly possible to solicit a reaction, and if you react even slightly, then you're the one in the wrong. Real mature Utards, real mature.

I really don't know how to respond seeing that on Sunday the word out on the Internet I read said that Kwitt's wife had some how been struck in the lip and that their son had been sucker-punched. I've never heard anything confirming anything about this supposed incident with the coach's son. Did some Utard dream that one up too and just float it out there purposely to once again lie about actual facts?



I agree with Bauman that this rivalry is getting way off track and too violent. Violence is not fun. There were several Utah fans in my area, both young and old and I saw nothing out of line whatsoever. My only issue was the two SNOT fans that were following my daughter and me all the way from parking to the stadium and could not stop with disparaging remarks about Max Hall and our "default" national championship as he referred to it. After about 3-5 minutes of the jerk, I did want to take my stadium seat in my one hand and just wave it across his face to shut him up, but I resisted and just didn't even acknowledge him. But that was it for me as I saw nothing more that what is usual.

And if some Ute fan ran onto the field, onto BYU's sideline, and then got in Bronco's wife and kids face and started taking their pictures after a heart breaking loss at RES, you would?

Is that what happened? Looked to me from the pictures that the BYU fan was still in the stands. BYUtime, are you a byufan? You have taken the side of the utes in every case in this discussion. You act like the ute fans were innocently trying to leave the stadium and BYU fans were taunting and picking fights with them, when all the evidence shows that it was ute fans who were upset with the loss picking fights with BYU fans. Why don't you go to the ute boards where you belong.

How far will the SNOT fans go with this. Someone sent me a link on a Facebook website some SNOThole created called "Max Hall is Classless". Believe it or not, here is what the person sent me stating this was said by someone named Lizzy Brown:



“I was at the game last year and saw a lot of what happened to Max's amily. What is not being said is that they were acting in a very obnoxious manner and inciting those around them with their comments. His mom grabbed and tore up a Utah fan's sign. They appeared to actually be trying to pick fights with Utah fans and are ...frankly lucky someone didn't react more aggressively toward them. It appeared to me they were removed by security from the stadium and not escorted out due to concern for their safety. For anyone to claim they are martyrs is totally incorrect from what I saw.”



Right! Max Hall's mother tore up a SNOT's sign at the game and tore it up and was removed from the stadium and we never heard of this issue until now. No media, no nothing. This person was so righteous that she never said anything until now that she is seeing that Max is making the maryrt of his family. Baloney Sausage

I'm tired of this. I keep coming here hoping that everyone's done with these stories. As is often the case in altercations like these, both sides probably feel like they were the victim.



Can both sides stop trying to win moral victories regarding their teams' fanbases? I could honestly care less about the good-fan-to-douche ratio on either side. It doesn't prove anything. Just try to be a decent fan yourself, encourage that behavior from your fellow fans and enjoy the game. Hopefully someone with clout will try to put a cap on some of the less-reputable stuff that's been happening the last couple of years.

I agree completely. I wouldn't feel bad at all if these threads were locked and we never brought it up again until something REAL shows up in the news.
