Interesting to hear Steve Sarkesian named as a possible new Trojan HC. That would be a sweet gig if he wanted (and was up to) it.



If that happened, and he brought some glory back to USC, would we use that as another BYU success story?

Agreed. BUT... success at Washington will NEVER get the same attention as success at USC.

And I guess what I'm wondering is; does Sark say much about his BYU days and if or how that helped him? And if (a bigger IF today than yesterday) he got offered SC....... you know....?

Kiffin should have been fired after last season... I'm surprised the USC alum and boosters didn't get their way before the season began. I'm looking for Mack Brown to not make it the rest of the season with the Longhorns either, in fact, there is a large contingent of Texas fans, alum, boosters and local media in Austin calling for his job right now. Guess we'll see.



And for scott715... your Bruins are going to wax the Utes this weekend... won't even be close... I am shocked Vegas only has the Bruins as a 4 point fave... take UCLA for sure there because they are going to lay down a butt-whoopin' on the Utes. I like the Bruins by at least 21.

Yeah, and he's kind of stagnated at BSU the last couple of seasons, so both he and the university might very well be ready for a change of pace in 2014....which also happens to be when USC gets all their scholarships back, so the new coach gets to recruit not only to replace graduating seniors etc, but he gets to load up on 20 or so additional scholarships suddenly available. I think the AD at USC is smart and realizes that with a new coach and the ability to recruit so much harder than any other team out there next year USC can turn this around in just a year or two.....if they make the right hire.

But now that Kiffin's gone, who will send out the prostit...err...."hostesses" on the recruiting trail?

Peterson's son graduated from high school, so there's not the family need to stay in Boise there has been. He is from CA and I wonder if he isn't getting ready for a new challenge. I mean you can only play the 0-15 Southern Mississippis so often....He'd do well at USC particularly with recruiting. He is an offensive genuis and a class act. If I were USC (or Texas for that matter) I'd be doing all I could to grab him.....

What I wouldn't give to have Chris Petersen running my offense and Bronco Mendenhall running my defense... That would be epic.
