BYU vs MTSU Game Thread

About 40 minutes to kick off. Poor weather and loss to Utah could equal poor attendance tonight. Jard Loyd showed a picture of the student section, it's basically empty as of 6Pm. Hope their all just on Mormon standard time and show up eventually.



All the pregame talk about Hoffman out, williams out and lots of fresh faces at OL have me thinking that MTSU has a real shot at an upset today. :~(

Conference Usa refs tonight. Does Holmoe let the road team use their officials as a way to get deals done? Is this standard practice to give the road team "their" refs?

If Byu get 55,000 in attendance tonight that will be a small miracle.

Road team usually brings their refs.

I dislike very much when officials assume that everyone has seen that the play is dead, delay in blowing their whistles, and then penalize someone who kept playing until the whistle.

Is the ball slippery again? Geez. JD drops a punt and then Bills drops a simple pick. That's at least 4 dropped INT's by my count this season. Each one would've been huge. Oh well. At least our boys live right off the field... :whistle:

There's no reason not to throw the deep ball every series since we know we can get 1st downs on the ground. Argggggh. It'll never happen, but for development's sake this game is pointless.

Maybe we aren't living right on or off the field! ;)



But seriously, this is embarrassing. Suck on the field and headlines off the field getting all the attention. Am I the only one reminded of the Crowton era?

Agreed. I'd like to see us work on the passing game. They're not gonna be able to run it down every teams throat.
