White out tomorrow, how will it go?

I love the white out, but wonder how it will go tomorrow. It is projected to be 49 degrees at halftime and down to 42 by the end of the game. My wife tells me that my entire closet is full of BYU apparel, and even more after the Royal game last week, but the only single longsleeved white item I have is my Las Vegas Bowl shirt from a few years ago. For me, it will probably be blue sweatshirt with my white jersey over the top.



How many people are going to be wearing white tomorrow?

It'll be poor. Lots of white shirts will be covered up by big coats.

It would be a great time to laugh at ourselves and show up in missionary attire.



Any pre-game gathering. I decided to stick around a few extra days and catch this game.

Rainbow city. There will be true Blue and the other blue and white and yellow and camo and chaos. The student section will look respectably and predominantly white--and didnt it look awesome in royal splendor last week?!!!!!!!!!!!

PS I still sometime sing "Stalwart men and true" But that's showing my age right?

I was taught stalwart men and true as well. But the next line is still, "wear the white and blue."

I have no problem with white and blue.



But white by itself? That only flies in the other "happy valley" on the other side of the country.

Byu has two colors.. It's never only been blue.

I like the white outs. Really stands out on the TV games. If I were in charge I'd do the white outs on opening day. White is a great color when its hot out. Cold weather games would be easier and better looking for blue.

For years I have wondered why anyone give a rats hiny what anyone wears to the game as long as it is not red or the color of the opponent du jour - just so long as it had a bib - ha ha.



But, I have paid more attention the last couple of years.



Whiteout looks great in the stands.

Royal Blue looks great in the stands.

USU Blue does not stand out in the stands.

And everyone wearing whatever random fashion du jour they feel like wearing looks weak as well.



If fans aspire to be an elite program with exposure to the max - it is time to get on board even though it probably is being pushed to sell more Nike apparrel.



Yoy can get white stuff anywhere and I saw students selling Royal Blue in the South parking lot for $15 Saturday. Or just let the bookstore make a few extra bucks off you - kind of like a donation.



I am just surprised that the worst compliance seems to be in The Cougar Club sections.
