11-2... BYU just lost to the Utes who could very well lose their next 6 games, Hill can't pass, the O line is still suspect, they're still trying to run this silly GFGH offense... and BYU still has Utah State, Boise State, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech and Notre Dame to deal with, all of which are just as good if not better than Utah. 11-2??? :lol:

If we ended up going 11-2, I'd retract my desire that BYU find a new head coach. But it's not happening.



Middle Tennessee and Idaho State are wins. That gets us to 3 wins.



At least right now, I'm thinking Georgia Tech, Houston, Boise State, and Nevada could go either way.



Then you have Utah State, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame, which are probable losses. Maybe we steal one of those.



Us going 8-4 at this point would be surprising. 6-6 is probably more realistic.

I tried to schedule an introduction to Airwolf - just to see if there is any truth to the person.



I will not make a forecast on this thread, but will remind people that last time you waxed optimistic against all odds and fan expectations, BYU thrashed Texas. 11-2 is certainly possible. The good news is that we have 9 games left to play.



BTW - Utah is better than most expected. Other than an OT loss, they are undefeated. They have 2 quality wins. They are looking like a bowling team if Travis Wilson and Dres Andersen stay healthy.

I just calls 'em as I see's 'em. By the way, I called the Utah game spot on and no, I don't think they are a bowl team... I was not at all impressed with their performance against the Cougs... they had a solid run D, Hill couldn't pass, Wilson was the better all-around QB... game, set, match. They are going to get exposed in their next 6 games and go from 3-1 to 3-7 and won't be bowl eligible, mark my words.

I was wrong, but so was everyone... Texas was favored to win and no one expected what we saw in that game, although, Texas' run D was horrific last season and it obviously carried over again this year resulting in the firing of two of their coaches... that's how bad it was.

By the way Wolfie, no one called the Utah closer than I did. You had Utah 24-20.
