He had Taysom Hill throwing at a 58% completion rate, including one game at 66% against a good defense.



So, he is capable. This is a coaching/scheme issue. Jason Beck needs to be better. The offensive design needs to be better on the passing routes (ie Anae needs to be better). Receivers need to catch the ball better.

No, it's one flaw in his mechanics that Taysom has picked up in rehabbing from his injury and that they are working on. It's hard to go through an injury like that and not come out of rehab with a kink in the motion. TH was much improved accuracy-wise in the first three quarters of the Utah game in comparison to where he was in the UVA and Texas games.



Hill will be fine once he eliminates the overstride and opens his hips back up. It's just a matter of reps, and eventually getting the brace off (if ever) will be a big help as well.

I figured it had something to do with the injury, but they also aren't giving him the easiest throws to make. Swings, screens, slants and digs should be the main throws right now. Too many go's and out's (although Hill's best pass of the season was the out to Hoffman on Saturday-tight coverage, only one place to put it, and it was perfect).
