I have to say that or offense really struggled and despite the abyssmal reffing could have won us the game. i would have never been able to keep my cool like hte players did with the calls that were being made. it was unreal.

mitch mathews was literally punched in in the face right after the halftime hail mary right in front of the referre. nothing.

i hate to say it but that game was stolen by the refs. call me a sore looser. i have never said that but it was unreal. byu had enough big plays to win that game despite their mediocre offense. thornton was wide timing was beautiful, ute players imply shoves him. no call.

hoff getting literrly two hand pushed all game long. nothing.

kearsely gets tackled four second after teh play. nothing.

101 return. holding. comeb ack.

utah punt returner touches tthe ball, byu touchdown, taken back.

i couldn't believe it. it was awful. i wanted byu to simply walk out of the game.

despite all that they never gave up and just kept playing. never lost their cool. this team is tougher than they were two years ago.

Go Cougs.

You know who you blame for the reffing? Not the PAC 10.2 refs. They're always been corrupt and are going to do what they always do.

You blame Tom Holmoe for agreeing to this and not insisting on a neutral officiating crew.

absolutely. i would NEVER NEVER NEVER play them again without that in writing. those refs were garbage.

I care. for some reason if my team plays their best and the other team simply played better the lose doesn't hurt as much.

On the replay it seems rather clear that Utah didn't touch the ball on the punt so no live ball.

I agree that we got gypped on several calls/non-calls but so did Utah by the end of the game.

Remember, Falslev ran the punt back to the 12 or 13 and we came away with 0 points; and our first 4 or 5 blue zone appearances resulted in 6 freaking points! The play calling was atrocious, THill's throws were even worse, our receivers were dropping several catchable balls and we didn't cause any turnovers. We lost this game; not the refs!

I agree, the players showed a lot of restraint and class. Im proud of them

With 2 years off from the rivalry game and losing the past 4 games in a row, we now will have a generation of BYU players who will NEVER have known what it is like to beat Utah. That to me is a really sad thing. Can't blame the refs for the loss in spite of several bad calls. Fix this "impotent" offense--that was the term the TV announcers used all night. Has the BYU offense had a decent offensive team since he became HC? It is obvious they spend all the time and resources recruiting defense.

despite the refs, our offense had the opportunity to punch it in for touchdowns agains the worst red zone defense in college football, but couldn't.

Wrubell tweeted out this: If red zone = 7 possible points, Utah was 20/28 & BYU was 13/35.

That plus 18 of 48 passing will lose you a fair number of games.

Was it play calling or was it execution (don't hate me for using that word, at least I didn't say "grit")? When my 62 year old step mom who has to ask why the ball comes back after a hold asks me if it is rule they have to run on first down, maybe there's something to the play calling... Yeah, it wasn't 100% of the time, but it was enough to let the D make calculated risks to stop it. If you can get 5-8 yards on 1st down every time, then keep it up until the D stops you. But that wasn't the case.

I would have loved to see a few players "lose their cool" and get the team jacked up! We lacked leadership. We lacked a sense of urgency. We lacked focus. Sloppy and underperformed. Stand up to those damn utes, get offsetting personal fouls and create some energy. They taunted all night and got the last hit all night. We truly became their b's and so many of you seem fine with that. This is football, not the playground or a marriage. Stand up for yourselves!

AFREAKINGMEN!

Even the announcers remarked that the fans and players seemed tight and on edge. How pathetic and sackless. This annual choke job early in the season and especially vs the U is Bronco's legacy.

I'm glad the players never gave up. But don't worry, plenty of fans have - and I"m close to being one of them - and will. You're going to see a fairly empty stadium this week. And then again in two weeks after BYU comes home after losing in Logan.

You are a numbers guy. What will the paid attendance figure be?

Travesty if fans bail when the team needs them most. Anyone with tickets should see to it that they get used. KVN and others certainly deserve a little help from the crowd.

How else can we make bronco and byu brass listen to the fans besides not showing up? Empty stands looks bad in hd on espn! Time to make some drastic changes. This fan doesn't like the decisions of the past 6 years and wants change. Ill make my voice heard by not renewing season tickets next year and watching more from home if at all. So much fun to enjoy during the fall and tired of sacrificing it for these pathetic and boring performances!

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

So Boise:

1) How much are you paying and sacrificing to go to games this year? Or are you just watching most of the games from your couch?

2) What would it actually take from a football performance point of view for to agree that it was time to replace the HC? Or are you happy as long as the program is clean, regardless of performance on the field?

We are on our 6 year of under performing, 4 straight loses to our in-state rivals (which might as well be 6 years since we don't get to play them for the next two season), and we are in our 4th year of no offense, without a QB and extremely boring football. I reached my threshold for tolerance and patience with the HC, the only common denominator of the past 6 years.

I am in Utah right now and I would like you to meet me for lunch. Bring your wife. The one who got cold feet at the game you claim to have attended on TICKETS SUPPOSEDLY GIVEN TO YOU at dinner and your poor wife had no time to change her shoes. And despite your vocal disapproval last season, you now claim to be a SEASON TICKET HOLDER.

Well - you pick the restaurant, bring your imaginary wife, prove you even have season tickets and I will pay for lunch. Yes - I am that confident that you make stuff up.

PM me. Bring Airwolf and I will buy his lunch too.

Name is Jared fields. I am a well known local realtor with remax and my website is thefieldsteam.com. I sponsor the run13.com race series and am in loge 114 with several of the co sponsors. First time buying season tickets though. All my contact info is on my website. Lets do lunch and talk some football. Tucanos would be great!

Wife is 6 months pregnant but I can bring her too. We are going out of town in Wednesday for 12 days so it'll have to be after that.

As you can see on my website I had a huge client appreciation event at Provo beach resort the morning of the game and have away $700 in byu tickets.

Does this change anything? I still want bronco canned!
