The UVA breakdown late in that game is why BYU is not top 30 already.



Beating Utah would put us Top 35 - maybe close to 30.

That depends on what poll you are looking at - doesn't it DM? Try averaging the polls.

AP lists 39 and BYU is not listed. Coaches poll does list us at 36 as you indicated.



So yeah - beating Utah should easily get us in top 35 in the coaches poll, but may not quite get us in AP Top 35. So - average it.



Maybe you can make your bold prediction right here.



Of course we need to actually beat Utah.

If BYU beats Utah they will be ranked inside 35.

Well - since my prediction of top 35 - maybe close to 30 - was not bold enough to avoid your ridicule - I assumed you had something bolder in mind. My OP seems plenty bold to me. Maybe even a little optimistic.

I was disappointed that we lost points from week 3 to 4 when we did not play, but that has generally been our experience. I'm sure our Texas win lost some pizazz after they lost again, this time at home.



We are now down to only two teams that could be undefeated when we play, GA Tech and Houston. I'm not holding my breath on any of the two in their remaining undefeated.

Yes. GA Tech unlikely to survive @Miami, V Tech, and NC before meeting BYU.



Houston has a better chance vs @Rice, @TxSA, and Memphis before taking on BYU.
