Beavers vs Utes

What predictions can any of you cougarcorner fans make about the OSU vs Utes game? Local media and fans here in Oregon aren't sure what to make of the beavers this year.

The beavers appear to have little to no defense and the Utes seem to have improved quite a bit in offense. Their defense is still up in the air but I'm sure it's decent. Being a home game for the Utes my money would be on them.

I will be watching here in Oregon. 7pm PST.

OSU lost at home to a D2 team. Utah will work them. 37-17 utah. :sick:

I wouldn't mind seeing Oregon State putting one or two key Utah players out of commission. :D

USU is better than OSU. So Utes take a nail biter. Utah lo9ks beyyer than I expected. USU does too. OSU looks worse than I expected.

Speaking of USC, my son was there for the loss to WSU--he is working on his Masters degree there. The streets have lanes labeled "Fire Lane". Someone spray painted the name "Kiffen" after the label so it reads "Fire Lane Kiffen".



The utes will probably knock off the trojans.

USC are the Trojans. UCLA are the Bruins.

Looks like Dennis Erickson was a great pickup--as opposed to Norm Chow.

OSU has had about the worst luck this season with injuries. Their linebacking corps is absolutely ravaged to the point where some of their positions don't even have a second-stringer available to list on the depth chart. They've lost 3 starting OLinemen since the start of the season as well. The Beavers are going to start pulling redshirt from true freshmen this week just to pretend they have some depth.



Utes have lucked out with the timing on this one, and I think they win a close one.

I live in Oregon, and there are few beaver fans in my priesthood group. Defense is the beavers biggest problem. They lost to eastern Washington--a national power in FCS. The beavers were able to score in that game, but they couldn't make a defensive stand.



Beavers beat Hawaii at home Saturday. They held the warriors scoreless in the 2nd half and the beavers scored 19 in the half to pull out the W.



Who knows how good Hawaii is. They were handled well by USC, and USC looks pretty week.
