Two things I can't get over

I literally thought "They're going to kill the turf!" when I saw everyone rushing the field...

From what I understand, they'll be replacing the whole field anyway this offseason. The drainage and crown is still fine obviously but they'll be replacing the actual grass due to all the clay deposits that have settled on it.

So Unga is going pro, and Anae is getting the UNLV job. Any other scoops to share? because those are pretty obvious.

I have heard nothing, of Robert going to UNLV, but Unga leaving is spot on, I hope he stays, but I would not.

lots of time between now and then, but if I were him, I'd DEFINITELY go.



The only thing he has to keep him here is the O-line will be better next year than this year and we won't historically be passing as much, but runningbacks get injured early in their careers and BYU's got plenty of backs.

Unga ain't Adrian Petersen, but he'll most likely get a lot more game time than John Beck (if his health keeps up), and J.B. has hung around the league quite well. I'm sure his family isn't starving.

Unga ain't Adrian Petersen, but he'll most likely get a lot more game time than John Beck (if his health keeps up), and J.B. has hung around the league quite well. I'm sure his family isn't starving.

Yup, and why not go ? you'll lose a star QB in Max, and even tho Heeps/Nilson(sp?) might be better, he also loses Tonga, is main blocker, and we lose our 2 TE's, we also have a good chance to go 8-4 (We play @, UofU, TCU, FSU, and AFA, and at home we have Wash, and NV) and with a New QB, I don't think he will risk coming back, because chances are we will not be 10-2 at end of Reg season.

I guarantee you that Riley Nelson is NOT going to be better than Hall. I really *hope* that Jake Heaps is, but the only thing we have to go on right now is highschool rankings, and as we all know, that means almost nothing.
