Davies signs with the Clips

I'm happy to see that he has finally worked on his jumper and fadeaway moves to his left. Most importantly, we don't have to be subjected to only Kings games this season.

Happy for Brandon Davies to get his shot. Long shot - but he gets his chance.

I read this on ESPN tonight. Bueno! It's good to see good things happening for Brandon. A very good team with lots of upside. A top notch, very good coach. It looks like Brandon Davies hit the basketball lottery. Signing with the Clippers is very positive. Congratulations!

Congrats, Davies. Well deserved. Hope you get some playing time and make the most of it.

Davies has a real chance to find some playing time. The Clippers backup big men are:



Antawn Jamison-really old

Ryan Hollins-can't play offense

Bryon Mullens- can't play D or rebound and is shaky on O.



Davies might be the best player of the bunch.

It's preseason, but still:

I played on a city league basketball team with CP3's dad back in the mid 90s. Perhaps I could use some of my influence to help convince CP3 that Brandon Davies is the future of Clippers basketball.

Davies in against the Jazz 3-4 from 3 while playing SF. Who knew he could shoot from deep?

He did it a little at the Y. Has been working on it since he left because that is where he will now play.

Like I said a long time ago, Davies will play in the NBA. He has talent, length, and physical ability... lucky enough for an NBA team they don't have to rely on him, but he adds a nice dimension at small forward in the league and he's certainly on a team where he doesn't need to do anything but not make mistakes.



I didn't love Davies as a college playe (I didn't hate him either), but it is clear he has physical talent, he can defend and he can pass the ball and that's all a team like the Clippers want, particularly because their other bigs can't shoot a lick from 5 feet away... It's not like we had the luxury of playing him at the 3.



I love how Kyle Collinsworth is driven by Brandon. KC was the boss at Provo high, the Kansas recruit, etc. I hope that KC stays in touch with Brandon and stays motivated to do what it takes to get to the league too....
