Rank the 2013 Schedule

Once of the closest votes yet. But Texas by a longhorn is the third most difficult game on the schedule.



I think I'm going to go with Notre Dame on this one. We have a bye week before the Wisconsin game. Bronco has coached many games against Gary Anderson. Both games will be very tough, but I think a slight edge to Notre Dame.



Here's the schedule so far:

I've voted Wisconsin the last 3 polls, no reason to change that up now.

So you've been voting Wisconsin as the 5th, 4th and 3rd least difficult game, so now you're going to vote for them to be the MOST difficult?

I still can't believe ND has lasted this long. There is way too much reverence on this board for that program. Wisconsin is LIKELY the toughest game this year since it's on the road, against a coach who is quite familiar with our weaknesses, and they play a physical style on the O-line that may very well eat us alive.

The last four years, in games in which Bronco has more than one week to prepare for the game, he's undefeated. I'm counting season opening games, post-bye week games, bowl games.

2009: 3 wins 0 losses (Oklahoma, Wyoming, Oregon St)

2010: 3 wins 0 losses (Washington, UNLV, UTEP)

2011: 4 wins 0 losses (Ole Miss, Idaho, Hawaii, Tulsa)

2012: 3 wins 0 losses (Washington St, Idaho, San Diego St)



Such games in 2013:

Virginia, Wisconsin, Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl

No, I'm going to vote for them to be the 2nd MOST difficult game, because I don't think they will be tougher than Notre Dame (or Texas or Boise State for that matter).

Well, then make sure you vote FOR Notre Dame.

Wisconsin in Madison in November >>>>>>>>>> Wyoming, UNLV, Idaho(x2) [the bye week games]. Washington, Ole Miss, and Washington St. were poor teams. Oklahoma was the only legitimate comparison, but it was a season opener in a dome versus a November game in Madison.



I voted for Notre Dame as EASIER than Texas and Wisconsin. A vote between Texas in Provo and Wisconsin in Madison would have been a tough call.



Notre Dame in South Bend (easier repeat of 2012 game) versus Wisconsin in Madison is a no-brainer: Wisconsin will be BY FAR the more difficult game.



BYU will beat Notre Dame this year. Wisconsin will be EXTREMELY difficult.



Yes, there is familiarity with Gary Andersen, but I don't think that plays in our favor. GA gets to use what he knows about BYU (a win and two very close games in Provo, with subpar Dairy Ewete talent) but with Big Ten talent, in front of 80,000 Badger fans, 1,400-mile roadtrip for the Cougars, etc.

Reading comprehension is not my friend on a Monday morning, apparently. Subtract one point for Wisc and add it to ND.

All Notre Dame did was go undefeated in the regular season last year (with the preseason #1 toughest schedule in the nation). Pssh. BYU did that as recently as 1984!

ND was a paper tiger all year, something I figured most fans were aware of. I guess not. Wow again to the ND love on this board. We will beat those guys this season.

To say any undefeated team is a paper tiger, especially one with as difficult a schedule as ND had last year, reeks of a smarmy "I'm smarter than the results" attitude more than anything. Once they go undefeated, you kind of have to eliminate "paper" from that statement.
