Here's the vote so far:

1. ???

2. ???

3. ???

4. ???

6. DL 50%

7. WR 84%

8. RB 48%

9. LB 59%

I think I'm going with the QB position. I'm still not sold on THill - based on what we're reading from practice reports. It just seems like I'm reading about more passing success from Ammon Olsen than from THill. But I think between the two of them we should be okay in the new system.

I think 2013 will be very similar to 2005. The Offense will be inconsistent at times, but show the ability to really rack up points and yards.

For me, it's between QB and OL, and the OL might be able to absorb a major injury slightly better than the QBs.

QB's should've been eliminated last time around imo. I picked the TE's because I am assuming they will continue to be irrelevant for the 4th year in a row. So, no I'm not concerned about this position on the team anymore. I just consider them inconsequential.

I'm not worried about the QBs. Taysom has "it."

And Olsen is every bit as good as Taysom. Should Taysom get injured our offense won't skip a beat.

Experience in a QB is very important, but not all QBs need that much experience to find their comfort zone. I think Taysom found his comfort zone quickly last year and will pick up where he left off -- he will play like an upperclassman.

Anae had a serious bromance with the TE position during his first term as OC here. It will be a shame if the TE is not utilized extensively in Anae's offense. BYU has the ability to recruit certain types of athletes very well and other types not so well. The positions that BYU has the most consistent pools of great athletes for are LB and TE. They are somewhat similar in build and speed. It just seems that the LDS gene pool got flooded with this type of athlete.

Plus in any serious passing scheme, when a bunch of receivers spread the field and a TE and RB release then mayhem ensues and TEs / RBs rack up a on of yards. Even though there hasn't been much evidence to suggest that Anae is resurrecting his beast TE position from the past, I still think BYU's TEs will slowly but surely find their place in this offense.

Richard Wilson was quoted recently as saying tat it was a new day like when Anae was here before. the TE will reemerge, but nt be stellar. And bc Hoff will get so much attention, the TE will get some good receptions. Still no Harline or Pitta, but maybe a George in the ranks. Still yet, in the true spirit of the question, we are strong at QB, just inexperienced. But if T?hill stays healthy, look for a special sophomore year, equalling the best of other soph qb years.

Richard Wilson has said a lot of things during his career at BYU. It's usually followed by very little production or injury.

Sad, but true.

AFter reading about Sorensen finally being healthy, I voted Kicker. Sorenson has been solid all fall, and the guys backing him up aren't bad either.
