BBQ & Carwash Today! (08-17-2013)

If you've got a hankerin' for some of my Utah County-wide famous apple wood slow smoked pulled pork or you need your dirty, dirty car washed, come by the Saratoga Springs Walgreen's (at the intersection of Lehi Main and Redwood Road) today between 10-2. The lacrosse team I coach is doing a fundraiser and it's $5 for either or $9 for both.

PS-I'll be the dude manning the smoker. If you do stop by, come say hi!

Thanks, Ddawg, it went really well, but we did have a little pork left over. I was expecting to see at least a Hawkwing or an Ungoy in the sea of cars we washed. But, alas, most people's lives don't revolve around lacrosse and BBQ.

I would have been there but I was manning the emergency preparedness booth at the EM North Stake family fair. I was hoping to catch you there but I think our events were essentially at the same time.

Had a really good turnout. Absolutely no one was interested in emergency preparedness, but the face painting booth next to us was a real hit.



The big rain fall at 2ish wasn't a ton of fun, but it was better than broiling.



Did you have good luck with your fundraiser?

The rain started just as we finished. We had almost a constant line of cars for the full four hours and sold roughly 7/8 of the BBQ. Overall, a really good day.

sorry, I drove right past as I was running some errands (I live real close to that walgreens) but the bbq sounded really good. I tried to come back but you guys were gone by then. if I had known it was you I would have stopped. I echo the same as above, let me know your added and I will make a donation too
