Huge recruiting week!

In case you haven't noticed, BYU signed some amazing talent this week and quite possibly the best WR prospect we've ever had.



All these guys are legit and had BCS offers.

I'm trying to remember if there's ever been a wide receiver over 6'4". I think our tallest tight ends were 6'5". That's a big target. Is there any information on him. By the way I think Kurtz is short in German.

I believe the recruiting class represents the fruits of ESPN exposure, our new recruiting coordinator Geoff Martzen and the revamped Cougar Coaching Staff - including our WR coach - Guy Holliday. Wow this class is shaping up to be one of the best.

Correct, but it's spelled kurz (no 't', although its pronounce as though it had the 't') and if you're referring to someone's stature you call them big or small (gross or klein) not short (kurz), which is usually reserved for lengths of time, books, roads etc.

The recent commit talent is great! Equally exciting is that two of these guys are non-LDS gets and are coming here because they are drawn to LDS standards. I hope to see more of that continue.



Being a Texas boy myself, I'm especially excited about Dale. I think his comments are correct. Texas is very conservative and has a potential gold-mine of talent that would often be drawn to BYU standards. It's one of the many reasons I have been hoping for a Big 12 invite. Especially when A&M was a part of the conference, we had a number of schools (outside of Austin) with which we fit very well culturally.



Now if we can only get Sutton to come too...

Mitch Mathews is listed as a 6'6 WR.
