The Rivalry Game This Year

I think BYU would show a lot of class by having a moment of silence prior to the kickoff of the rivalry game for the fallen Utes (Gaius Vaenuku and Manukainiu Polo) that died in the car crash. Who knows? Maybe it would heal some really bad blood between the two schools.

Very sad. The D-new article says the one is in criticle condition but the KSL article says he's already been released from the hospital. It looks like Manukainiu was a player for Texas A&M. Football is really not important when some perspective is put on it.

University of Utah freshman Gaius Vaenuku was one of the three confirmed deaths in the accident. His cousin, Polo Manukainiu, a redshirt defensive lineman for Texas A&M, was also killed in the crash, along with another 13-year-old cousin, whose identity has yet to be released.



Unconfirmed reports are indicating that Utah offensive lineman Salesi Uhatafe was taken to a nearby hospital and has since been released.

Tragic. I'm sure Tom and Bronco will Be all over having a moment of silence. Unless of course, it lengthens the grieving process inordinately and/or unduly.

This would be a great idea.

The two administrations always claim that we have a great relationship with utah that way. I am sure that BYU will do everything they can to pay respects to the loss of the ute football team.

Here's how I see it:



BYU respects the fallen Ute with a moment of silence before the game, then promptly pummels Utah into the turf during the game.

How a out a moment of silence before the game for the recently fallen utes then another one after the game for all the other :utard: that won't be returning to salt lake in one piece?
