Just Go Away

Dear messers Weiner, Vitters, Spitzer, Filner et al, please just go away. There is nothing honorable about being caught in your vileness, apologize for it and then claim that as atonement you will offer yourself in service by running for office. True remorse would acknowledge the power rush of the media's attention, and the trimmings of office and the attention and adulation of office, and that the two are incompatible, meaning if you truly are repentent, you would walk away from it all. But you don't. While some of us are not smart enough to see this and will vote for you because of your party affiliation regardless of the shame you have heaped upon yourselves, there are many of us that see through the fakeness that is you. Please just go away. Don't be around so we have to explain to our children and grandchildren what it is you have done. Please go away so we don't have to wonder if you'll break your vows to us as you have broken your vows to your wives.

I think Mark Sanford is in a whole different category. However you look at it, he simply fell in love with another woman. His wife and he got divorced, and he is now engaged to the Argentine woman - Maria Chapur.



So - is Spitzer engaged to any of those high dollar hookers that he was consorting with? No. How about Weiner? Is he engaged to any of the 10+ women that he sex txt'd and had phone sex with? No. Weiner is a uniquely odd guy, just a sexual deviant weirdo.



Although it is was wrong to engage in an extra-marital affair, as Sanford did. People do get divorced, and remarried. That's the path of Mark Sanford took. Though he did things out of order. Sadly, Sanford fell out of love with his wife, and in love with another woman. He faced the music for his actions, has paid a price. From everything I can read, he is conducting himself honorably now.



Sanford refers to Maria Chapur as the love of his life. Has Weiner or Spitzer referred to any of their sexual trysts as the "love of their life", divorced their current wife, and then become engaged to any of these women? No.

These guys are seriously messed up people. If it's any indication of the integrity of the people running our country, it's no wonder we are in serious trouble.

Might as well include another dirty dem - Mayor Bob Filner of San Diego. He's being publicly accused by 8 women of sexual harassment. He is such an out of control weirdo - he has asked women that work for him to work without panties, and demands they kiss him.



This guy is so out of control, the city attorney has directed Mayor Filner that he cannot meet with any women alone - no one.

Ah yes - you did - he is dirt. It is worth taking a closer look at this guy. He refuses to quit - against good advice. He's going to lose the sexual harassment lawsuits that have been filed against him. San Diego City Council, and the city Attorney want nothing to do with him. They voted to not use city funds to defend Filner. The chorus to resign is growing day by day. Filner is on his own financially to defend himself.



Actually, it will be fun to watch both Weiner and Filner self destruct as they refuse to quit.
