Weird NCAA Records Fact

It appears that all of the individual NCAA records held by BYU players are for special teams:

Looking at these records make me sick...



Detmer use to hold every record stat known to man. But thanks to that Hawaiian wannabe Colt Brennan. Ugh... :~(



But after looking at some of the QB stats. I'm even more sick.



Most rushing TD's by a QB... Colin Kaepernick. A few of those were against us. :sick:

Most rushing yards by a QB, career... Was from another Utah QB THAT ISN'T DETMER :sulk: But by Matt Cannon from Southern Utah(granted, not FBS but WHERE'S Detmer?!?!)

4 1/2 years due to a medical redshirt, plus his bowl game stats count and Detmer's don't. Also does Hawaii get 13 games every year? Maybe he had a couple more extra games. Detmer probably had 2 away games at Hawaii so he probably got 2 extra games due to that, but he didn't play that much of his freshman year either.

I actually think it was Timmy Chang who beat Detmer's record first.



But none of it matters since Case Keenum essentially got to play five full seasons.
