American Spectator takes on W. Davis and Late-Term Abortion

Thanks for sharing. My brother is writing a debate paper on abortion so I passed the link on to him. It just blows my mind that abortion can be considered anything other than murder.

If the Mars rover were to come back with a discovery of smallest of single-cell organisms that somewhat resemebles to the most remote degree even the slightest of paramecia, it would be hailed as the greatest discovery in the history of the world as "LIFE" was found on another planet.



So in that instance, LIFE exists and has begun. Yet, here on earth we dont' know when "life" begins for a human being?



Even if you want to debate at what stage an embryo, viable tissue mass, fetus, whatever begins to "live" it is certain that it's life ends in an abortion.

I don't necessarily consider it murder, because that assumes a fact that our doctrine is silent on--when the spirit enters the body. Snuffed out after three days--I don't know if is murder or not since I don't know when the spirit enters the body. Born alive and left on the table to die--yes. Absolutely, murder. I can say with relative certainty that messing with God's process for bringing life to earth is not a good thing. It is a very evil practice to be sure.



I love the fact that if I scamble up some bald eagle eggs for breakfast, I'm going to jail. But if the doctor scrambles up the human embryo, well, nothing happens. Of course opponents will look to the endagered nature of bald eagles (though they are everywhere). Do we not have a supreme demographic population problem on the horizon where we are not reproducing at a sustainment rate? Is that not a compelling state interest since moral decency doesn't seem to be enough?



Though we live in troubled times (either just before or the tribulations have already began), I am hopeful for what comes after the troubled times. It can't come fast enough.

Oh yeah, and the real issue is not a woman's right to her body. Women have a right not to get pregnant by avoiding the very activities that might get you pregnant. What we do not have a right to do is get out of the natural consequences of our actions. This whole debate has been framed incorrectly from the beginning. Does human life weigh more on the scales of justice than the inconvenience of carrying a child to birth--you don't even have to raise it. You can put the child up for adoption, as there are far more people looking to adopt babies than there are babies. Abortion rights like to point out foster kids waiting to be adopted, but that is a different story. Parents are much more willing to take an infant than to adopt an older foster child for whatever reason.

I'm glad they mentioned post term abortion. That is the next step in the progressive plan. The chair of The ethics committee from Princeton has been floating that idea for several years. They start with the suggestion that parents should get to try out the child for six months and have that length of time to decide whether to keep it or put it to sleep. And they insist this would be for special needs babies (downs etc.) but in a latter speech he as well as some of his like thinking progressives make statements like a child doesn't really become a person until about six to ten years old and then add if they are raised in a progressive environment.

So we need to continue to bring these barbaric practices to light (partial birth, late and post term) and keep the spotlight shinning brightly on these evil doers and the crimes they commit.

Has this princeton guy ever looked up the the word ethics? Why wouldn't we just line people up and decide which ones are of value and which aren't and abort the ones we don't like? That would change every time a new party got in. Oh I guess not, a lot of us wouldn't be left to vote after some people got in.



How does all this fit with all those deficating bricks over capitol punishment? I don't know if the same people that are pro choice are anti c punishment but it is certainly confusing.



Another thing I've thought about is language usage. How did killing babies get to be called pro choice instead of pro murder? Who let them pass by the truth?

Saw the video of this a while ago. Creepy. Weird.

Maybe I just don't have a sense of humor, but no one chants "hail, satan" as a joke.
