Anyone planning on going to the Virginia game?

the ladyhawk and I just bought our tickets for the VA game. Anyone else making the trip?

I'm going. I have my ticket and plane ticket using miles. The hotel is still open. Not liking what I have seen. I get in Sat morning and leave Sunday morning.

Still pondering.

I'll either be going to the Virginia game or the Wisconsin game. Have not decided yet.



As you can tell, not buying the tickets through BYU. Will go secondary market once I decide which game I am going to attend.

Well ..... I have been looking at some pre-season Polls. It's way too early. I've seen Wisconsin listed at 19 and 25. In other Polls, not listed at all. I've never see Virginia listed or mentioned in the upcoming '13 season.



I suspect Virginia is more vulnerable to falling and the Coug's getting a "W" on their road trip. Although watching BYU win is the goal - it's not the only thing. If you have family or friends in either area, that would be a good visit.

I really wanna go, about as bad as I want to go to the BYU vs. West Virginia game in 2016. I was there for the game in 2000,( I think that was the year...), when we broke in their freshly newly renovated stadium. Other than the Motor City Bowl in 99' that was my first real taste of BYU football, and a very memorable game, I actually still have my ticket stub.

I live in Northern Virginia, so gotta go, absolutely. A guy in our ward started organizing a group about 6 months ago. There are 115 of us going. As soon as we hit 100, the deal got pretty sweet; $24.00 for lower seats. It wasn't until we gave him the money for our family that I learned that he was dealing with someone from UVA. so there'll be a big bunch of Blue and White smack dab in the middle of the home crowd. Should be fun!

A guy on CB from Virginia organized a group of 150 people and got tickets at $24. That is where I got my ticket from. Very reasonable price.

A little birdie told me that you are planning on leaving to go there the Monday before and some family was meeting you on Wednesday. Want a third wheel for those first three days?

I'm still not sure when we're going to go out, but you're welcome along with us when we do. But it might end up being Wednesday too.

:bug: $24? Man, do I feel like a mark! I shelled out about $55 a pop through the local alumni chapter so my family of four could go. We live in Northern VA, so lodging isn't a problem, but I sure wish I knew that guy with those $24 tickets! My cousin told me he just got some for $30 from a guy in his ward in Herndon. :sulk:

Well the group was like 124 people so he got a group price. I expect to see a lot of blue at the game.



PS Anyone want to meet there?

Are most of you getting tickets from Stubhub or from BYU? I'll be driving down from NOVA as well and need to get my tickets soon!

I got mine through BYU.

Decided to go through Stubhub since BYU had sold out all lower bowl tix already. I'll be in section 112 row OO -- technically a home team section but will be right next to the BYU crowd. Can't wait for August!

I'm going with my fam. Didn't know tickets were on sale yet. I need to get in on some of that $24 action.
