This highlight is missing about for "should have been" touchdowns:
1. An injured Riley Nelson throws the ball to the 3-yard line, instead of the yards deep in the end zone. Instead of a touchdown to Apo, we had an interception.
2. An injured Riley Nelson is unable to get a deep pass off before a porous offensive line let's Utah's defensive line through. Instead of hitting Hoffman for a game winning TD, the pass falls incomplete.
3. Riley Nelson misses a wide open Hoffman streakring down the middle of the field. Instead of a potentially game winning touchdown, the ball falls harmlessly to the ground and Riley signals he thought Hoffman was going to zig instead of zag.
4. A freshman running back misses a block on a blitzing defender who sacks (?) Nelson. Instead of a potentially game winning score, BYU loses.
Four should have been touchdowns are missing from that highlight. Show how close BYU was to being very good and very special last year.
