Antagonist in Ziggy Movie

So, say Disney were to do a movie on Ziggy, who would the antagonist be?



Assuming we want a movie to be made about Ziggy, we'd want it to be a good movie. In which case an antagonist will be needed.



Movie's without an antagonist suck. But, there really wasn't anyone that was "against" Ziggy.



Who do you think Hollywood would turn into the antagonist? Bronco? Kaufusi? There's no drug gang or NCAA investigator in Ziggy's life as portrayed in The Blind Side.

That would be Kyle Gunther on 1320 Kfan. It might have been that he wouldn't even be on any other NCAA team which he gets to eat crow over often lately.



If you take away the Utes that are my favorites for their play on the field/court (Ryan Kanasheiro, Tyron Tait, Marshall Henderson) he's probably one of the better Utes out there.

If you are talking Hollywood then a description would be a white conservative in a pickup truck that attends a Christian church regularly. Anybody in Utah match that description?

Crazy BYU fan who is convinced Ziggy would have played as well his first game as he did his final game if only Bronco had trusted him. The fan will attempt to break up the relationship between Ziggy and Bronco and ultimately try to kidnap Ziggy ala Misery.

You mean Michelle P? O r was that just Jimmer.

It would just be inner demons and spectres of his past. Family trouble back in Ghana, need money, come home, stop wasting your time, you're never gonna make it, etc.



Be a much better movie without a manufactured human protagonist.

The first person who comes to mind to play our PROTAGONIST is Djimon Hounsou, but I'm afraid he's too old now, coulda pulled it off ten years ago, though.

I think if you had Nathan Stewart-Jarrett hit the creatine and the gym for 6 months, he'd be your guy. He's got the height to pull it off as well.



Pooch Hall and DeVaughn Nixon would also be decent.

The Early in the movie Antagonist becomes the slowly but surely coverted, biggest fan and mentor. It's huge! And if some of you homers had the heart and vision to risk holding Broncos realistic feet to the fire, you could have seen this a mile away. Some of you would want to fabricate something than accept what is (with at east a little Hollywood embellishment) a big part of Ziggys success.

And throw in a little coach rose To fan the flames? could be a nice and true sub-plot/precursor.

I thought the same thing. Show him flaming out in basketball, then track, then his first introduction to Bronco. Show Bronco watching him during his first practices, and Ziggy not being able to get through practice without puking. Then watch him start making plays on special teams. All along, Bronco is trying to coach him up into something useful on the field. Finally he gets his big break and takes off. It's actually is a very good story if you just tell the truth.



The not getting pads right, of course. And this little snippet from the Dailey Herald article today would be great:

Total rags to riches. Throw in an age embellishment that he's like 29 with other teams complaining about older players at BYU, etc.

Maybe the producers could get Sandra Bullock to play the mom and Dwayne The Rock to play larger than life Ziggy. :-)

And may e they could get Suan Penn to play the missionary. He is great at try to spin things to make anything conservative look insidious. He was halarious at Katrina when he got the crew to film him in a canoe as if the place was way under water and a couple of people walked by and it was just up to their ankles or shins.
