That was REALLY fun to watch. Thanks for posting! Wouldn't it be awesome if he became a household name in a few years?

This is fun. It reminds me a lot of the national attention that Jimmer drew, but for some reason I can't descibe, it even seems more fun. Loved it. They all had Ziggy-stardust in their eyes.

But, unlike Jimmer, Ziggy can play some Defense! Jk. It is way cool. It's a bummer the wave didn't happen more during the year. Maybe if Bronco has trusted an all-world player sooner.... Jk, again.

But it is way cool! Go Ziggy! Wish he would go to to KC with Coach Reid. Not sure Panthers is a better place. Ad to have to go the Raiders at 3 or Detroit at 5-ugh.

I'd really hate to see Ziggy go to the Jaguars or Raiders, but with the defensive linemen in place already in Detroit, it wouldn't be a bad situation for him at all.

The only thing that worried me about Ziggy is that he may need some personal attention with his coaching at the next level since he is so raw. If he goes top 5 or top 10 he is going to get that attention. You don't pick a guy that high and then hang him out to dry, you can't afford to have him fail. Ziggy is going to be really good. It is fun to hear the comparisons to Bruce Smith who is one of the best all time.

Agreed. I'm personally hoping he gets to the Lions at 5. Bypasses those two awful teams at 2 and 3. With Fairley and Suh inside, that d-line could dominate

Misquoting Tolstoy, all bad teams are bad for different reasons. That said, bad coaching and/or management is probably common throughout the bottom rungs of the league. Much as I know a few extra million could be well-spent in Ghana, and I have every reason to think Ziggy would "give back" to his home country, I think for his long-term progression it wouldn't hurt to fall a few notches into the 10-20 range and get picked up by a team with sound coaching and management that can work and polish him without crazy expectations; someone who recognizes that yes, the sky's the limit, but we don't need to have that from him right now. Someone willing to give him a full 15 months to progress to reach that potential.



Either way, Ziggy, make sure you pay your tithing first! ;)
