Thanks should go to the makers of this site for the Cougarcorner News Bites where I read the article. I just wanted to comment on it since it was really a good article. You can't help but root for these young men.

Wonderful story, with everything that goes on around us stories like this are why I continue to be able to have hope.The younger generation is a special one.

The great thing is, Trey is second generation BYU football. The program not only recruits great young men, but makes a difference for entire families. I'm sure there are many more children of BYU football alumni who are great examples to their peers, but don't get recruited back into the system.

I'm a big fan of Bronco institutionalizing these principles with "Football Fifth" while maintaining a very high level of football.

I used to have the "You Punt, You DYE" poster hanging on my wall when I was a kid. I'd love to see Trey run one back if he ever returns kicks/punts.



These types of players/stories can happen on any team and I'm sure they happen on many other teams but this kind of stuff is why I'll always cheer for the cougars! They're kids that (for the most part) I'd like my kid to look up to. I'd rather lose with them than win with some of the others.

What an inspiration! This was like reading a conference talk. I agree that I'd take kids like this win or lose, but how can you lose in the long run with quality like this? Hey, are we reqruiting any of Trey's teammates?
