2J was not here then. Take his comment as a vote of confidence in 2J. Obviously we all heard that players loved Weber. We all know that he was given a vote of confidence and retained after 2010. We all know USU hired him immediately this year and they have a good offense. We know the OL was injury riddled. And yes, we know most fans thought Weber should have been fired at the end of 2010. We also know that offenses prior to 2010 were fine under Weber.



Take this comment as a very good offensive lineman commenting on Weber's entire body of work and his thoughts about 2J. Weber had few fans at the end. On the other hand fans were clamoring for Jeff Grimes and had long forgotten 2J



Take this comment as acknowledgement if how much the OL affected over-all team performance.

One very big fact You are missing is that Weber was still the good cop when Anae was still around and kicking his Oline in the teeth on a regular basis. Weber can't claim success when Anae was around.

He wasn't fired because ryker mathews implied he may not come to byu if he was fired.

Everyone on the offense was asked to "reapply". Weber chose to apply somewhere else and was hired. If he had reapplied, he would have not been retained just like the others. Anae wanted to hire an entire new staff.
